How it works

Campaign-based, not per-product

On an eligible product, the normal Add to Cart button is replaced with a Preorder button. The shopper checks out normally — the order is simply flagged and handled on your terms.

Create one "offer" (a preorder campaign) with its own rules, then add as many products to it as you like. A single sneaker drop or an entire new collection can share one set of terms.

Availability & fulfillment

Two ways to trigger a preorder

Out of stock mode — keep selling right through zero stock, no cap unless you set one.

In stock mode — customers preorder ahead of a real, limited restock; once real stock hits zero, it behaves like a normal sold-out product.

  • Always available, or open/close on specific dates
  • Countdown timer with "Starts in" / "Ends in" messaging, fully styleable
  • Tell customers exactly when to expect their order — normal, a specific date, days after ordering, or "on hold" until you release it

Order management

Self-service for customers, one-click for you

Customers can cancel their own preorder via a link in their confirmation email — no need to contact support — triggering an automatic refund.

You get a dedicated Orders view showing every preorder, its payment/fulfillment status, and one-click actions: release a hold, reschedule a ship date, reschedule a payment date, collect a balance, or notify the customer of a ship-date change.
