This Privacy Policy explains how STOXIQ ("STOXIQ", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when a merchant installs the STOXIQ app (the "App") on their Shopify store, and when that merchant's customers interact with features the App provides, such as Preorder, Back in Stock, and Low Stock Alert.
From merchants: store name and domain, contact and billing information provided through Shopify, app configuration and settings, and usage data about how the App is used within the Shopify admin.
From merchants' customers (end shoppers): information submitted through App widgets, such as email address and, where provided, phone number for back-in-stock or preorder notifications; order and product data necessary to fulfill preorder and notification functionality; and basic device/browser information for widget display and troubleshooting.

We retain merchant and shopper information for as long as the App remains installed on a store and as necessary to provide its features, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. When a merchant uninstalls the App, data associated with their store is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period, consistent with Shopify's own data protection requirements for apps.
A customer who signs up for a back-in-stock alert or places a preorder can unsubscribe or cancel using the links provided in their confirmation and notification emails, without needing to contact the merchant or STOXIQ directly. Customers may also contact the merchant to request access to or deletion of their information.
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect the information we process, including encryption in transit and access controls limiting who within STOXIQ can access merchant and shopper data.
STOXIQ is used by merchants across many countries. Where applicable, information may be processed in a country other than where the merchant or their customer is located. We take steps to ensure such transfers are conducted in a manner consistent with applicable data protection law.
The App is intended for use by Shopify merchants operating commercial stores and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date on this page.
